Michael R. Meier

Michael R. Meier, age 49, passed away April 15, 2018.

He was born in Council Bluffs on July 10, 1968 to Richard and Kathleen (Sturm) Meier. He graduated from Fremont Mills with the class of 1986 and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for Security Equipment Inc.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Michael is survived by his children, Macy Crouse (Jake), Ian Meier (Stacy),Aden Meier; granddaughter, Eleanor Crouse; companion, Maria Smith; mother, Kathleen Meier; grandmother, Mary Sturm; sisters, Julie Childers (Torre), Christy Porter, Bonnie Donahue (Tony); nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Wednesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is 2:00p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Inurnment is in the Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
