Michelle R. Henry

Michelle R. Henry, age 62, passed away January 8, 2016 at Methodist Hospital. She was born in Lexington, Nebraska on March 26, 1953 to the late Paul and Betty (Walker) Cunningham. Michelle graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1971 and then attended Platte valley Bible College in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. On April 6, 1974 she married Jim Henry and to this union 4 children were born; Heidi Henry, Joshua Henry, Phillip henry and Shawn Henry. In addition to her husband and children, Michelle is survived by her brother, Danny Lee Cunningham (Sue); 4 grandchildren, Alex, Justyce, Emily and Tatum; nephew, Heath Cunningham. Michelle was passionate about her role as a ministers wife and together they served most recently at Woodland Community Bible Church in Crescent, Iowa. She loved singing,playing to and feeding the congregations they served. Michelle owned and operated Thats Amore in Bellevue for over 10 years. A time for Music and Memories will begin at 10:30 a.m. and continue up to the celebration of her life at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Following the service a pot-luck will be served in the Hoy-Kilnoski community room. For those of you traveling from out of town please do not feel obligated to bring a dish ( except the Sweenys- you are the reason my Mother loved Pot Lucks- therefore-obligated). The family will direct the memorials.
