Milton Alfred Jones

Milton Alfred Jones, age 87, of Council Bluffs passed away on December 19, 2015 He was born in Missouri Valley, Iowa on May 16, 1928 to the late Alfred and Alma (Tillgren) Jones. Milton graduated from Missouri Valley High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He retired after a career with Centris Telephone, formerly Northwestern Bell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jones; brothers, Ronald and Darwin Jones; and sister, Jean Butler. Milton is survived by his daughters Nancy Mann, Janece Lewis, and Rebecca Gray; son, John Jones and his wife, Peggy; sister-in-law, Anna May Wegner; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Visitation is 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment is in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Jennie Edmundson Hospital for pulmonary rehabilitation.
