Nancy J. Vance

Nancy J. Vance, age 83, of Council Bluffs passed away December 6, 2014 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. She was born in Fraser, Iowa on November 27, 1931 to the late Archie & Ada (Phipps) Killion. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Terry and brother, Kenny. Nancy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Max Vance; children, Max Vance, Craig Vance, Peggy Fuller (Allen), Michael Vance (Linda); sister, Sally Shortridge; brother, Jim Troutwine (Gloria); 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the America Cancer Society or the America Heart Association.
