Naomi M. Darnold

Naomi M. Darnold, age 82, passed away July 18, 2016 at Amelia Place in Council Bluffs. She was born in Chariton, Iowa on February 18, 1934 to the late Lyal and Letha (Lacey) Moore. Naomi worked for many years at both Safeway Grocery and Oriental Trading. She was a member of Harvest Alliance Church in Minden, Iowa. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Darnold and son-in-law, Jeffrey McSorley. Naomi is survived by her daughter, Sherrie McSorley; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Jill Darnold, Jeremy and Nicole Darnold; brother and sister-in-law, Lyal and Shirley Moore; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Harvest Alliance Church in Minden. Interment is in the Downsville Cemetery near Underwood, Iowa. Memorials are suggested to Harvest Alliance Church
