Born to Jodie Sherman and Prayong Saysanavong, He was raised by his Grandparents, Charles and Brenda Sherman.

Narong attended Riverside High School in Oakland, IA and Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, IA. He is survived by two children Elizabeth and Alexis Saysanavong (Houston, TX); siblings, Anita Sherman, Melissa Sherman (Florida), Andrew Sherman (Council Bluffs, IA); grandma, Brenda Galitz; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Narong was very loving, always smiling. He was someone who would pick you up and push you forward. He was a great dude, full of love and strength. Narong was passionate, intelligent, loyal and caring. He will be missed by all who loved him.
