Norma J. Pitt

Norma J. Pitt, age 78 of Shelby, Iowa passed away February 25, 2013 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. She was born January 4, 1935 in rural Crescent, Iowa to the late William S. & Amanda A. (Kreiger) Walter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Walter. Norma is survived by her husband, Marion Pitt to whom she married on June 27, 1954; daughters, Debra Kelso (Steven), Linda Smith, Barbara Richards, Kathie Pitt; sisters, Arda Schroder, Charlotte Burbridge (Leroy); sister-in-law, Rose Ann Walter; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Wednesday 6-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Thursday 10AM at the funeral home. Interment is in the Grange Cemetery followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials in Norma?s honor.
