Olive Rasmussen

Olive Caroline Rasmussen, age 101 passed away December 31, 2012 at Bethany Lutheran Home. She was born in Badger, Iowa on September 29, 1911 to the late Otto & Dora (Grote) Larsen. Olive had given piano lessons for many years and was a member of ALTRUSA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Rasmussen; sister, LaVon Larsen; brothers, Harold, John, Bob and Floyd Larsen; great granddaughter, Leslie McCravy. Olive is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Al & Eileen Taylor; sister, Alice Parson; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation is Thursday 6-8 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral is Friday 2PM at the funeral home. Interment is in the Memorial Park Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
