Oral W. White

Oral W. White, age 90, passed away January 6, 2014 at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Hamburg, Iowa on November 12, 1923 to the late Alvie & Mamie (Jennings) White. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Oral was extremely proud of the fact that he worked until he was 87 years old as a security guard at MidAmerican Energy In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna White; granddaughter, Jennifer White; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Oral is survived by his daughters, Linda Schultz (Rod), Gwen Wilson (LeRoy), Vicki Koopmeiners (Alan), Terri White (Tim Harmon); son, Oral White Jr. (Julie); sister, Margaret Carlson; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and special nephew, Loren Freking. A reception and meal in his honor will be Thursday 5-7PM in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
