Orville Blue

Orville R. Blue, age 76, passed away peacefully at Douglas County Health Center on January 5, 2024.

He was born September 20, 1947, to Charles and Doris (Kesterson) Blue in Council Bluffs, IA. Orville graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1965 and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Blue; brother, Charles Blue.

Orville is survived by his children, Christopher (Martha) Blue and Suzy (Jeremy) Smith; sisters, Margaret Aleksiak and Ruth Blue; grandchildren, Joseph, Gabrielle, Ethan, Isabella, Charles, and Liliana; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, January 11, 2024.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, January 12, 2024. Interment will be in the Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
