Patsy Irene Doebelin

Patsy Irene Doebelin, age 91, of Council Bluffs passed away November 20, 2015. She was born in Council Bluffs on April 19, 1924 to the late Clifford and Grace (Meeks) Deyo. Patsy was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was an active member and past president of Southwest Iowa for the Blind and was presented the Governors Volunteer Award. Patsy was a lifetime member of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church. Above all she had a strong faith and loved the Lord as well as her family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Doebelin Sr., son, Frank L. Doebelin Jr., infant son, Michael Doebelin; son-in-law, Gale Arch. Patsy is survived by and will be sadly missed by her son, Larry and Betty Doebelin; daughter, Carolyn Arch; son, Donald Doebelin Sr. and Mary Siek.; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church.
