Peter Laustrup

Peter C. Laustrup, age 70, passed away at his home on February 24, 2024.

He was born August 28, 1953, to the late Donald and Angela (Gibson) Laustrup in Omaha, NE. Peter graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1972 and then proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He retired International Game Co.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Laustrup; infant brother, Geoffrey Laustrup.

Peter is survived by his son, Brian (Mia) Laustrup; siblings, Mark (Peggy) Laustrup, Mike Laustrup, Kirstin Halberg, Dana (Jeff) Engel, Chris Laustrup; grandsons, Hayden Phippen, Dominic Laustrup, and Benson Laustrup; nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, March 4, 2024. The family will receive friends during the hour prior to the service. Memorials are suggested to ALS in the Heartland or Folds of Honor.
