Richard D. Mann

Richard D. Mann, age 80, of Council Bluffs passed away September 15, 2016 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

He was born in Pisgah, Iowa on October 24, 1935 to the late Floyd “Sam” and Loreno (Booth) Mann. After a career at Industrial Chemical Laboratories, he was the longtime owner and operator of Janitorial Machine Maintenance and Repair.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Mann; brother, John Mann; 2 half-brothers.

Richard is survived by his children, Robin Kern (Jeff), Laurie Davis (LeRoy Jr.), Todd Mann (Cathy); brothers, Rolland Mann and Bill Mann; sister, Ramona Brown; grandchildren, Amy Price (Josh), Lucas Kern (Katey), Bryan Davis (Jessica Drewes), Kaitlyn White (Josh), Sara Manzer (Joey), Madison Mann; great grandchildren, Jaiden, Kairi, Jackson, Silas, Kalli and Grayson; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be later in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Deaf Missions or Lewis Township Fire and Rescue.
