Richard M. Inman

Richard M. Inman, age 72, of Council Bluffs passed away August 22, 2015. He was born in Council Bluffs on August 28, 1942 to the late Meritt and Kathryn (Swassing) Inman. Richard earned a Masters Degree in education and taught at both Buena Vista University and Iowa Central College in Fort Dodge. He had also served two terms on the Fort Dodge City Council. Richard is survived by his cousin, Ron Swassing and his wife Lynn; brother, Thomas Inman and his wife Janice; nieces, nephews, cousins. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1 Bluff Street, Council Bluffs, IA. with a Mass of Christian Burial starting at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Peters or Iowa Central Community College Scholarship Fund.
