Richard N Baber

Richard N. Baber, age 79 of Council Bluffs passed away December 21, 2011 at Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital. He was born February 1, 1932 at Lamoni, Iowa to the late Eugene H. & Adeline G. (Soules) Baber. Dick had worked for the Nonpareil at one time as well as has his own Company called Baco Power Systems. He was also very active in our community, involved in a number of different groups and activities. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 4 sisters, Verdean Marriott, Mary Gwin, Gladys Hall and Ruth Laney; granddaughter, Lilly Baber. Dick is survived by his wife, Betty(Adams) Baber; daughter and son-in-law, Lorene & Dennis Nathan; son, Brian Baber; brothers, Roland Baber and Dr. William Baber; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. Visitation is Sunday 3-4PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory and Monday from 10-11AM at the Community of Christ Church Central Congregation. Memorial service is Monday 11AM at the Community of Christ Church Central Congregation. A lunch will follow the service at the church. Memorials are suggested to Graceland University.
