Rick A. Mccabe

Rick A. McCabe, age 53, of Council Bluffs passed away March 27, 2015 at CHI Mercy Hospital. He was born in Council Bluffs on July 2, 1961 to LeRoy and Raemonette (Rocha) McCabe. Rick graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1979. Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Raemonette Brotherton; grandson, Cameron McCormick; brother, Tracy Lisle, in-laws, Russell and Beverly Webster; brother-in-law, Russell Webster III. Rick is survived by his wife of 32 years, Julie McCabe; children, Ashley Thallas, Derek McCabe, Kayla Garges and her husband Corey, Mallory McCormick and her husband David; father, LeRoy McCabe and his wife Shirley; brothers, Randy McCabe (Valerie), LeRoy Kick McCabe, Terry Lisle, Troy Kennedy, Glen McCabe (Ruth), Troy McCabe (Linda); sisters, Linda Smith (Larry) and LeAnn McCabe; step-brothers, Dale Faken and Mike Faken; 12 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Tuesday 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
