Robert E. Mohatt

Robert E. Mohatt, age 81, passed away March 20, 2015. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on January 16, 1934 to the late F. John and Josephine (Weinert) Mohatt. He graduated from Benson High School and then proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was an electrician by trade and retired from the Union Pacific Rail Road. Bobs favorite job was assistant to the park ranger at Arrowhead Park in Neola. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Brougham and great grandson, Zachary Mohatt. Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kathy Mohatt; children, Peggy Mohatt, Daniel Mohatt and his wife Maribeth, James Mohatt and his wife Cindy, Robert Mohatt, Mary Pat Hanken and her husband Cliff, Jill Krera; sisters, Frances Mull and Nancy Conover; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Monday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
