Robert Hopkins

Robert A. Hopkins, age 80, passed away peacefully at his home on September 3, 2024. 

He was born September 10, 1943, to the late Jennings and Opal Hopkins in Fairfax, MO. 

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from Vickers and then Horseshoe Casino. Bob enjoyed woodworking, loved playing cards with family and friends and also enjoyed traveling with Pam throughout the U.S. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, J.B. Hopkins.

Robert is survived by his wife of 39 years, Pamela Hopkins; children, Kimberly (Derrick) Emond, Dale (Corinna) Hopkins; stepchildren, Duane Smith, Jolene (Tim) Miller, Machael (Steve) Durham, and Tamie (Jose) Smith; siblings, Leone Mendoza, JoAnn Showalter, and Dorotha McDaniel; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The family will direct memorials.
