Robert J. Mccart

Robert J. McCart, age 85 of Council Bluffs passed away November 7, 2012 at Risen Son Christian Village. He was born October 13, 1927 near Springfield, Missouri to the late John L. & Stella F. (Owens) McCart. Robert owned and operated Bob McCart Auto. He retired in 1992 and then worked for Alters. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Pearlie McCart; sister, Vera Smith. Robert is survived by his wife, Shirley McCart; children, Sharon Ludwick (Don), Jack McCart, Jim McCart (Brenda), Pat Adkins (Doug), Pam McCart-Williams, Bob McCart (Sarah), Donald McCart; brother, Lee McCart; sister, Zota Kramer; step-children, Tony Robison (Margaret), Pat Whiteaker (Phil), Christine Sullivan (Christopher); many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation is Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral is Saturday 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials are suggested to Risen Son Christian Village.
