Robert R. "Bob" Schendel

Robert R. Bob Schendel, age 55, of Council Bluffs passed away August 12, 2015 at his home. He was born in Council Bluffs on July 7, 1960 to the late Francis J Schendel and Mary A. Travis. Bob worked at Hy-Vee for many years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis. Bob is survived by his children, Heather Mecone (David), Christopher Heese (Maria Colon), Megan Heese; siblings, Judy Hoffman, Linda Marsh (Larry), Bill Schendel (Marjorie); grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Monday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is Tuesday 10:00a.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment is in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
