Roberta Clark

Roberta Marie (Herald) Clark, age 98, of Council Bluffs, IA passed away January 2, 2024 at Prarie Gate Care Center. She was born June 26, 1925 to Stanley and Ruth (Darnell) Herald in Council Bluffs, IA. She worked during the war and was a loving wife, mother, homemaker, and loving grandma and great grandma.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; sisters, Emma Steffen and Lorraine Bockert.

Roberta is survived by her children, Ruth Ann (Lloyd) Etherington of Council Bluffs, IA, David (Wanda) Clark of Santa Maria, CA; grandchildren, Kristi Etherington, Robert Etherington, Jolene (Christopher) Smith, Cora Ruth, Brandon Clark, Jessica (Fred) Billingsley, Jennifer (Mike) Baumgardner; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Jacqueline Clark and Joyce Herald, both of Council Bluffs, IA; many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, January 8, 2024. Visitation will be held the hour prior to the service. The family will direct memorials. Final resting place in Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
