Rodneylee "Lee" Vogt

Rodneylee “Lee” Vogt, 45 years, Council Bluffs, died April 27, 2017. Born on the Hahn Air Force Base in Germany, the son of Melvin E. Vogt, Sr. and Kathleen A (Frampton) Vogt, he has lived most of his lifetime in Council Bluffs. He has worked as a truck driver for the Klein Company, the Fed Ex and MCT Company. He was a supervisor for the American Fence Company and last worked as a warehouseman for the Nebraska Warehouse. He is an aortic dissection survivor since 2012. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen.

He is survived by his children, Alexis and Mathias; his father, “Mel” Vogt, Sr. and Linda; his brother, “Mike” Vogt, Jr. and his nephew, Isaiah Nielsen as well as a whole host of other family and friends.

Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday 4 to 6PM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. A memorial
service will be held at 6PM also at the funeral home. The family will direct the memorials
