Roger Allen Rose

Roger Allen Rose, age 56, passed away in Council Bluffs, Iowa on March 9, 2019.

He was born in Sioux City, Iowa on May 15, 1962. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1981 and went to Iowa Western Community College. Roger loved Nebraska football, NASCAR, camping, and his Harley Davidson.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Donna (Hannan) Rose.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Heather Pura (Junior); two granddaughters, Victoria Medrano (Kevin), and Vanessa Pura (Guillermo); grandson, Stephen Pura; three sisters, Annette Rose, Pam Schnetter, Cindy Schnetter; brother, Pat Rose (Donna); biological father, Jim Schnetter (Vicky); nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation with the family is Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Thursday, 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.
