Roger Mark Finlayson

Roger Mark Finlayson, age 79, passed away on December 7, 2015 at his home in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was born on May 22, 1936 to the late John and Alta (Zenor) Finlayson in Buffalo Center, Iowa. He served in the United States Navy and worked for the Iowa DOT. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his son, David Finlayson and sisters, Arlis Tuttle and Jeannie Nye. He is survived by his wife Karen; son, Craig Finlayson (Marsha); daughters, Renae Zinnel and Mary Green; daughter-in-law, Dora Finlayson; grandchildren, Emily, Ian, and Eric; brothers, Dave Finlayson (Marian), Steve Finlayson (Stephanie), and Don Finlayson (Carol); sisters, Bonna Pinneke (Bob), Lois Elson, Miriam Boettcher, and Audrey Sangard (Clair). Memorial service is 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19 at the Hoy- Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the family.
