Ronald H. Meis

Ronald H. Meis, age 72, of Council Bluffs passed away December 2, 2017.

He was born in Granville, Iowa on April 22, 1945 to the late Ray and Catherine (Nilles) Meis. After high school, Ronald proudly served his country and had last worked at River City Barricade.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Meis.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rosemary Meis; sons and daughters-in-law, Ryan and Tracy Meis, Robby and Connie Meis; siblings, Bill Meis (Marian), Ken Meis (Suzi), Mary Koob, Tommy Meis; grandchildren, Elsy, Levi, Kenley, Piper and Preston; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.

Vigil service is 5:30p.m. on Wednesday followed by visitation until 8:00p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00a.m. on Thursday at St. Peters Catholic Church – 1 Bluff Street in Council Bluffs. Inurnment in the Omaha National Cemetery.
