Ronald Kenneth Miller M.D.

Dr. Ronald K. Miller M.D., age 73 of Council Bluffs passed away January 11, 2012 at Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital. He was born January 12, 1938 in Clarinda, Iowa to the late Dirwood & Velma (Preeo) Miller. Dr. Miller proudly served his Country in the United States Army. He was a member of the 504th Aviation Battalion and attained the rank of Major. Dr. Miller attended the University of Iowa for both his undergraduate studies as well as medical school. Dr. Miller founded Miller Orthopaedic Affiliates, P.C. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great grandchild. Dr. Miller is survived by his wife, Celinda (Corso) Miller to whom he married December 12, 1964; He is also survived by his sons, Steve Miller, Mike & his wife, Jenny Miller, Bob & his wife, Jenny Miller and John Miller; sister, Betty Cantu; brother and sister-in-law, Dick & Barbara Miller; 9 grandchildren. A vigil service will begin at 5PM on Friday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory followed by visitation until 8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 10AM at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Council Bluffs, Rev. David Fleming will celebrate the Mass. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
