Ronald Knecht

Ronald D. Knecht, age 80, passed away peacefully at the Florence Home on September 2, 2024.

He was born April 26, 1944, to the late Alfred and Marilee (Phillips) Knecht in Akron, IA. Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Knecht.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lynda Knecht; children, Kim (Mike Collins) McAllister, daughter, Melissa (Jim) McAllister, and Angela (Mike) Eakins; siblings, Vernon (Lynette) Knecht and JuDee Caquelin; grandchildren, Stacee Johnson, Roni (James) Cudaback, Ashley McAllister, Emily (Carlos) Vasquez, and Corrina (Stephen) Owens; a number of great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with a memorial service to begin at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, October 04, 2024. The family will direct memorials.
