Ronald L. Shaw

Ronald L. Shaw, age 82, of Council Bluffs passed away December 1, 2014. He was born in Tabor, Iowa on August 29, 1932 to the late Earl H. and Edith M. (Alley) Shaw. After finishing high school he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired after a career at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter, Rhonda Shaw; sisters, Hermene Carper and Alta Cron. Ronald is survived by his children, Tony Shaw (Marina), Micheal Shaw (Melinda), David Shaw (Estela), Danny Shaw (Michelle); daughters, Gale Wetzel (Richard) and Becky Jo Leekley (Nathan); sisters, Iva Bachman, Helen Sullivan (Gary) and Linda Bonacci; grandchildren, Lisa Renee Shaw, Steven Lee Shaw, Matthew Wayne Shaw, Amber Jade Johnson, Brooke Leanne Shaw, Bryan Charles Shaw, Joel David Shaw, ,Jordyn Ann Hanna, Zachary Daniel Shaw, Cassandra Ann Wetzel, Corey Lynn Brix, Dylan Matthew Wetzel, Shelby Lynn Wetzel, Brayden Lee Wetzel, Lillian Mae Leekley and Margaret Lodene Leekley and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation is Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski.
