Rosemary Cassidy

Rosemary Cassidy, 98 years, Underwood, Iowa passed away April 23, 2017 at her residence.

Born September 2, 1918 in Newark, New Jersey, she graduated from the Barringer High School in Newark. She worked for the Becton & Dickerson Pharmaceutical in New Jersey for 40 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Newark and the Presbyterian Church in Morris Plains, New Jersey as well as the Eagles Club in Kearney, New Jersey. She moved to Underwood ten years ago and was a member of the New Horizons Presbyterian Church in Council Bluffs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rose Cassidy; her husband, Charles Leo Butler and a sister, Francis Swanson.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Frank Butler, Sr. and Pat; her daughter, Rosemarie Butler; three grandchildren, Frank Butler, Jr., Lisa Bollard and Christopher Morresi; 10 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; 2 nephews, Richard and Roger Swanson.

Memorial services will be held Monday, 11:00AM at the New Horizon Presbyterian Church at 30 Valley View Drive in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
