Rosemary Langford, age 62, of Council Bluffs was born December 24, 1954 in Camden, Arkansas to Georgia Mothershed and Eddie Lee Whitney. On June 13, 2017, Rosemary was called home after a 3 and 1/2 year battle with lung cancer.
Rosemary worked at Mercy Hospital, as well as other various jobs. She was a member of the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church where she was on the usher board.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her longtime significant other, Curtis Floyd.
Rosemary leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Georgia Mothershed; daughter, Venita Langford; son, Michael Langford all of Council Bluffs; two grandchildren, Quadry Gardner of Maryville, MO and Tyrese Gardner of Council Bluffs; brothers, Theodore Mothershed (Sharon) of Sioux City, IA, Eugene Brock and Alfred Brock both of Council Bluffs; and David Brock of Denver, CO; sister, Ronda Mothershed of Omaha, NE; aunts, Nora Duncan of Council Bluffs, with whom she shared a special bond, Dorothy McCloud (Robert) of Omaha, and Brenda Ady (Jim) of Washington; uncle, Anthony Langford (Melody) of Omaha; longtime friend, Nancy Rollins; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be Friday, 1 p.m., at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Memorials may be directed to the family.
