Rosetta Carol Slason

Rosetta Slason, age 78, passed away in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on May 6, 2021. She was born September 17, 1942 to Harm and Louise Huisinga in Deland, IL. Rosetta enjoyed her Country music and dancing. Her pride and joy was her family and friends. Rosetta was a devote member of First Baptist Church in Council Bluffs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Joe, Jim, and Raymond Huisinga; grandson Malachi Rocha.

Rosetta is survived by her children Jeffrey Slason, Vicki (Todd) Rabas, Dena Leinen, Crystal (Jon) Gubbels, Carmen (Jason) Slason-Brooks; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Lynnette (Jerry) Barry.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, May 13, 2021. Inurnment following at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
