Ross D. Sage

Ross DeWayne Sage passed away December 23, 2017 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

He was born in Westboro, Missouri on July 26, 1929 to the late Lee Ross and Sylvia Irene (Herrick) Sage. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War. Ross was a man who never met a stranger and those who met him were better people for knowing him.

He married his best friend and love of his life, Beverly Ann (Croghan) Sage on November 21, 1954 and they were blessed to have 60 years of marriage before her death. To their union they added 3 daughters, Julie (Alan) Hollenbeck, Amy (Jim) Shaw and Teri (Harvey) Kunik; grandchildren, Keith, Travis and Justin Norton, Ashton, Alexandria and Allison Shaw, Sadie Kunik and other Kunik kids and great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Thursday 11AM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home and visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be held later at the Omaha National Cemetery.
