Ruth L. Geiger

Ruth L. Geiger, age 88, of Minden, Iowa passed away January 22, 2018 at Risen Son in Council Bluffs. She was born March 28, 1929 in Carroll, Iowa to the late Everete and Blanche (Reiff) Buck.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Franklin Geiger; sons, Mathias Geiger and Mark Geiger; step-father, Stewart Ellis; sister, Virginia Lee; and brothers, Clifford Ellis (June), Edward Ellis, and James Buck.

She is survived by granddaughters, Rachel Geiger (Eric Yurkovich) and Miriam Geiger; great granddaughters, Aaren, Ashlee, and Eden Geiger and Lydia and Eleanor Yurkovich; great grandson, Drake Geiger; sisters, Doris DeVivo (Frank), Margie Palmerton, Patricia Forbes (Bob), and Anita Dilts; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Sunday, January 28, 2018, 2-4 p.m., at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
