Ruth M. Cody

Ruth Cody, age 96, passed away peacefully at Bethany Lutheran Home October 22, 2020. She was born January 24, 1924 to the late Jens Andersen and Ellen (Loretzen) Andersen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. Lyle Cody; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Jaye Cody; infant children, Jimmy and Kathy; sisters, Elsie Lehmer and Norma Thomas; brother, Richard Andersen.

Ruth is survived by her son, Bob (Marsha) Cody; Daughter, Diane (Josh) Hursey; brother, Harold Andersen; sister-in-law, Harriette Andersen; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday October 31, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Cortege will leave the funeral home shortly after 10:00 a.m. and go in procession to the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, Iowa for a graveside service.
