Ryan Schnackenberg

Ryan Robert Schnackenberg, age 54, passed away on July 17, 2024.

He was born April 14, 1970, to the late John and Judy (Lemaster) Schnackenberg, in Council Bluffs, IA. Ryan graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1988. While in high school, Ryan ran cross country. Ryan and Tammy met, while cruising Broadway, and later married. He worked for Tim O'neill Chevrolet for a few years. In 1996, he began working for Griffin Pipe and remained there for 18 years, at which time they closed the business. Ryan then went to work for Aksarben Heating and Air until 2022, at which time, he had to stop working to battle his illness. Some of Ryan's many hobbies included Husker Football, Cincinnati Reds, Miami Dolphins and many years on bowling and softball leagues.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by father-in-law, Leland Thoren.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Tammy; daughters, Shauna Parker, Abigail, Jordan and Zoey Schnackenberg; brother, Randy (Sandy) Schnackenberg; sister, Ronda (Mark) Brandon; mother-in-law, Jeannie Thoren; sisters and brother-in-law, Heidi (William) Carpenter and Jenny (Mike) Slagle; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, July 20, 2024. The family will direct memorials.
