Sabine Holling

Sabine Holling, age 53, of Council Bluffs passed away April 16, 2015. She was born in Giessen, Germany on February 1, 1962 to the late Rudolf Springer and Marianne (Haberer) Koehl. Sabine graduated from Lahntal Schule Atzbach with the class of 1978 and married Tim Holling on April 6, 1979. The couple had one daughter, Jennifer, and moved to Casper, Wyoming. Sabine moved to Council Bluffs in 1996 and worked at Wal-Mart for 11 years. She loved the outdoors, fishing, and her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Christine (Tina) Springer. Sabine is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Holling; grandchildren, Tesla Holling, Allen Baker, and Chaise Baker; sisters, Angela Bachmann and Birgit Renner-Surratt; adoptive family, Judy Stiehl and Dawn Stiehl; and special friend, Allen Shenefeld. Memorial service is Tuesday April 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. The family will direct memorials.
