Sally Rude

It is with profound sadness that the family of Sally J. Rude, age 79, announces her passing on January 29, 2025 at Bethany Lutheran Home in Council Bluffs, lowa. She rejoins her husband, George, who passed away in 2019. She was born in Logan, lowa on October 27, 1945 to Forest and Elva Beckner. Sally was a homemaker and grandmother who lived for her family. Sally and George enjoyed camping and boating. They were involved with craft fairs for 25 years.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Opal; brother-in-law, Eugene Opal; and sister-in-law Oline Beckner.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Jodi Hinsdale (Rob); son, Scott Rude (Heather); granddaughter, Kara Hinsdale; sister, Gloria Blum (Terry); brother, Stan Beckner and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, February 1, 2025 with a visitation an hour prior to the service. The family will direct memorials.
