Sarah Rae-Ann Root

Sarah Rae-Ann Root, age 21, of Council Bluffs passed away January 31, 2016 after injuries she sustained in a traffic collision. She was born in Council Bluffs on May 1, 1994 to Scott B. Root and Michelle R. (Wilson) Root. Sarah graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 2012. She had earned a Bachelors Degree in Investigations from Bellevue University the very day before she died. Sarah is survived by her mother, Michelle Root; father, Scott Root (Marilyn); brother, Scott Root (Cori Shaw); grandparents, Sharon Wilson and Jim Wilson (Joyce); a host of other family and friends. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday with a Celebration of her life that will start at 3:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. The family will direct memorials.
