Sharon Binder

Sharon Rae Binder (Cohrs), aged 84, passed away on September 27, 2024, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, where she was also born on July 20, 1940. A graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, Sharon remained a lifelong resident of her beloved hometown.

Sharon is survived by her daughters, Michelle Young and Amy Andrade; son-in-law, Cecilio Andrade Gonzalez; seven grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love and guidance will live on through them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and William, her daughter Sheila Dunbar (spouse Ted Dunbar), and her grandson, Gabriel.

Sharon's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and community, leaving behind countless cherished memories and a legacy of kindness. Her family invites those who knew her to remember her life and contributions to the community she held dear.
