Sherry Turk

Sherry M. Turk, age 86, passed away peacefully at Josie Harper Hospice House on November 27, 2024.

She was born June 9, 1938, to the late Woodrow and Evelyn (Carmichael) Wilson in Council Bluffs, IA. Sherry graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1956 and then proudly served her country in the United States Navy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Shannon Turk; daughter, Kelly Hitchcock; brothers, Larry, Jim, and Terry Wilson.

Sherry is survived by her children, Terri (Dan) Anderson, Candy Freeman, and Dawn Jones; sister-in-law, Dian Wilson; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, December 2, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
