Shirley J. Nelson

Shirley J. Nelson, age 77, passed away June 26, 2014. She was born on August 2, 1936 in Mondamin, Iowa to the late Arthur & Ila Baxter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Nelson and 11 siblings. Shirley is survived by her children, Dianna Austin, Vickie Felton (Troy Fry), Becky Collier (Roger), Jonathan Nelson (Cathy), Marlene Nelson (Larry Walker); sister, Marilyn Ruth Mefferd; brothers, Curtis Kline (Connie) and Jack Kline (Lois Ferguson); special friend, Donald Nelson; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation is Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in Ridgewood Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
