Shirley K. Foster

Shirley K. Foster, age 78, passed away August 28, 2017 at Midlands Living Center in Council Bluffs. She was born on March 8, 1939 in Council Bluffs to the late Wilman and Marie Foster.

She graduated from St. Francis High School with the Class of 1957. She worked at Woodman of the World and Pottawattamie County Nursing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Patricia Edie and Linda Fox; brothers, William Foster and Norman Foster, Sr.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, and lifelong friend, Evelyn Kilnoski.

Visitation Thurs., 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service, Fri., 10:00 a.m., also at the funeral home. Interment at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Memorials to Wings of Hope in Shirley’s name.
