Sonja Jeanne Duvall

Sonja Jeanne Duvall, age 75, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away May 18, 2016. She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on October 30,1940 to the late Freeman and Agnes (Dilts)Hough. Sonja graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1959. Sonja was a member of the Red Hats and a Ring Secretary for Nebraska Charity Horse Show. She enjoyed horses, shooting sporting clays, traveling and especially spending time with her grandchildren and family. She is preceded in death by her brother; Howard. Sonja is survived by her husband, Philip, sons; Curtis Phillips (Lou Ann), Scott Phillips (Shelia), daughter; Julie Boggs (Dan), 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sister-in-law; Barbara Hough, nieces, nephews, family, friends. Visitation with the family will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, at the First Presbyterian Church in Missouri Valley, 210 N. 4th Street. Memorials may be directed to the family.
