Steven "Steve" Kelso

Steven Kelso, age 71, passed away October 14, 2024. He was born July 21, 1953 to the late Arnold and Dorothy (Haynie) Kelso in Council Bluffs, IA. Steve was very proud that he was sober for the last 9 years. During his journey to sobriety, he was baptized. He enjoyed a good game of pitch with the family but most of all enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nephew, Bart Kelso; aunts and uncles.

Steven is survived by his wife, Deb Kelso; son, Jim (Tina) Kelso; daughter, Amy Kelso; grandchildren, Cameron Kelso, Zelda DeRiso; step granddaughter, Taylor Bowers; brother, Ron (Susie) Kelso; sister, Phyllis Kelso; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Final resting place at Grange Cemetery.

The family will direct memorials.
