Steven Niel Johnson

Steven Niel Johnson, age 68, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2021. Steve was born March 30, 1953 to C. Roxie and Elsie (Nielsen) Johnson in Council Bluffs, IA. Steve lived and worked in Council Bluffs the majority of his life. He enjoyed careers in finance, and auto and home sales. Steve had interest in Council Bluffs history and took pleasure in talking with the many people who he got to know throughout his life. His pride and joy were his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael C. Johnson.

Steven is survived by daughter, Katie (Johnson) Kayl; step children, Jody (Jason) Druivenga and Chad (Mandy) Vincent; grandchildren, Hadley and Hannah; and the many others Steve considered to be family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints on Saturday, November 06, 2021.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints on Saturday, November 06, 2021.

The family will direct memorials.
