Sue Rodgers

Sue Roxanne Rodgers, age 73, passed away August 13, 2024.

She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on August 23, 1950 to the late Elmer Eyberg and Ethyl LaMae Dupuis. Sue worked in phlebotomy at Jennie Edmondson and Mercy hospitals for several years and later in life was the caretaker at the Hitchcock House in Lewis, IA. She loved her family tremendously along with her dogs.

Sue is survived by her children, Justin Thompson (Molly) Lewis, IA, Jimmy Rodgers (Katie) Omaha, NE, and Eva McCain (Justin) Treynor, IA; seven grandchildren Cameron Thompson (Brandi), David Thompson, Annaliese McCain, Tyson McCain, Ella Rodgers, Christian Thompson, and Maxum Rodgers; sister Janice Harris (Lynn); brothers,  Rick Eyberg (Grace) , Terry Eyberg (Connie) and Martin Eyberg (Cindy); and a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of Sue's life will be held at 12:00 PM at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, September 7, 2024 with a luncheon to follow.
