Tammy O'Brien

Tammy O’Brien, 58 years, of Council Bluffs, passed away at her home on October 13, 2017.

She was born May 29, 1959 to Larry and Alice (Wilson) Mendenhall. Tammy graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1977 and was a longtime member and employee at the Elk’s Lodge.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Tyler Scott O’Brien.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mikayla and Mitch Meiss; sister, Becky Johnson, Carol Callaghan (Richard) and Kallie Mendenhall.; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial service is 3:00p.m. on Wednesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the service. A celebration of her life and reception will follow at the Elk’s Lodge in Council Bluffs.
