Theodore J. "Ted" Doffin

Theodore J. Ted Doffin, age 55, of Council Bluffs passed away June 3, 2015 at his home. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on December 28, 1959 to John and Shirley (Reed) Doffin. He graduated from Lewis Central High School with the class of 1979 and worked in his familys business of Doffin Trucking. Ted was preceded in death by his father, John Doffin; brother, Terry Doffin; grandparents, Leonard and Virginia Reed, Herbert Doffin and Lillian Malcolm. Ted is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cynthia Doffin; daughters, Kellie Doffin and Lisa Doffin; mother, Shirley Doffin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dewayne and Kim Doffin, Steve and Lannie Doffin; nephew, Randy Doffin (Kristen Colton); special uncle and aunt, Bob Red and Belinda Doffin; aunt, Barbara Reed; other nieces, nephews, cousins and his canine companion, Scooter. Visitation is Friday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday 10:30 a.m. at Saint John Lutheran Church, 633 Willow Avenue in Council Bluffs. The family will direct memorials.
