Thomas was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 25, 1979 to Carolyn S. Parker James and Thomas Roosevelt James Sr. He moved to Omaha Nebraska at the age of one. Thomas attended Belvedere Elementary school, McMillan Middle School and North High School of the Omaha Public School District. As a child, Thomas, enjoyed playing sports with friends and family. This gentleman joined the Prince of Peace Church when he was a very young man. He was a proud member of Camp Fire USA. He achieved many academic and athletic honors in his lifetime, such as; Presidential Honor Roll (he always kept a 3.8 or higher GPA), first place at state in many track and field events. He excelled in art and singing. He has obtained an award at a Nebraska Drawing Competition. The world has been graced with his amazing artist in various ways. His art has been admired in the homes of his family and friends, banks, T-shirts, tattoos, schools, and other establishments. Thomas was a member of the North High Choir. He joined the Salem Stepping Saints Drill Team and traveled all around the United States of America to spread the sound of music with his drum. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Willis P. Parker and John T. James. Thomas leaves his love in the heart of his loving children Thomas T. James, Tanayzia C. James, Tre' Vaughn D. James all residing in Omaha, Nebraska. He also leaves his love with his parents, Carolyn S. Parker James and Thomas R. James, Sr. siblings, Steven W. Turner, Tamara L. James-Hainesworth, Tari C. James and Micah J. Hainesworth I. He will be inspiring from above his nieces and nephews, Keianna Turner, Miles Turner, Jayda Turner, Steven Turner, Jr. Makiyah T. Hainesworth, Tamia Hainesworth, Zandilay Hainesworth, Micah J. Hainesworth II and Iaya Curry. He also leaves behind his two lovable grandmothers, Margaret F. Parker and Mary James and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be truly missed. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
