Ty Kenneth Potter

Ty Kenneth Potter, age 21, passed away January 8, 2014. He was born in Council Bluffs on September 28, 1992 to Shane Potter and Monica (Negrete) Summa. Ty graduated from Lewis Central High School in 2011. He loved all sports but especially football. Ty was a huge Iowa State Cyclone fan. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lila Potter. Ty departed from this world far too early and left behind his father, Shane Potter; mother, Monica (Negrete) Summa & her husband, David; grandparents, Clifford & Monika Negrete, Joe Potter, Clyde & Judy Summa; sisters, Talia Dee Potter & Tara Kay Summa; brother, Tanner Lee Summa (Talia, Tara, Tanner and Ty were known as the 4Ts); uncle, Cliff Negrete and wife Amy; uncle Dwight and aunt Jenny; aunt Andy Negrete; aunt Amy Potter; many cousins and other family and friends. Visitation is Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Carson, Iowa Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family.
